Pink Tootsie

Pink Tootsie

I began writing this book about 10 years ago and it took over a year to complete. Initially, I wrote it as a way to purge my past. It was very cathartic yet extremely painful. I was only able to write about a chapter in one sitting. I would become physically nauseous and my skin would crawl. I did try to apply humor and make fun of myself and the way I handled some situations. I also include poems I had written and excerpts from my diaries. I kept almost everything from that time and was able to write verbatim what I had written.

Escaping Oz: Navigating the crisis

Escaping Oz: Navigating the crisis

The housing market cratered, stocks fell, and once venerable financial institutions were on life support. The economy struggled. The Wizards provided massive fiscal and monetary intervention. The economy recovered, but not for everyone. The social fabric began to tear. The dominant theme of the next decade will be the intersection of politics and economics. Economies naturally experience cyclic behavior though our financial system exacerbates the effect. A healthy economy and societal accord go hand in hand. We need to understand how we got here and how we will emerge.

The Christianity Myth

The Christianity Myth

The Christianity Myth is arguably the most interesting book on Christianity for some considerable time, because it explains the origins of both Christianity & the New Testament without resorting to divine intervention. The book addresses two fundamental questions. First, are the Christian claims that Jesus was resurrected in Jerusalem 2000 years ago well founded? Second, if not, how come 2000 years later, we have a major world religion based entirely on a false premise? Christians may well find themselves challenged by the contents of this book

Depression, Oil Trading and a Mind at War with Itself

He chronicles his agonizing struggles with severe depression and anxiety that caused massive marital strife with his two American wives and career upheaval, almost resulting in suicide. His mental illness could not have made him more unsuited to his chosen career as an oil trader during which he suffered many failings, disappointments and betrayal that threw him into deep despair and his life into turmoil and ultimately near financial ruin.
